Synopsis

Fifty years after the release of *Space Oddity*, the 90-minute film examines the period before Bowie became Ziggy Stardust, focusing on the years from 1966 when he changed his name from David Jones to Bowie. The film features footage from the BBC Archives, including a 1965 BBC audition with David Bowie and the Lower Third, in which they performed *Chim-Chim-Cheree* and *Baby That's A Promise*.
