Day of the Wacko
A middle-aged poetry teacher with OCD and a toxic attitude navigates a day of self-loathing and social chaos, desperate to escape his miserable existence without the courage to change it.
Synopsis
The film presents a bitter portrayal of a middle-aged man who despises his life and the people around him, including himself. Adam Miauczynski, a character previously introduced in director Marek Koterski's films, is a 44-year-old teacher who recites poetry during class but later returns home cursing and shouting at his neighbors. The most painful aspect for him is the next five minutes of his existence. He struggles to accept himself, and even routine interactions with others provoke his aggression. Despite his constant longing for romantic love, he lacks the courage to pursue it. Miauczynski's desperate situation reflects universal fears and obsessions that have become increasingly evident in recent times.

How many hands made this film
The scale of the collaboration
Principal cast & crew: 17
These are the principals we have on file — the full crew ran to the hundreds. Every film this size was made by far more hands than any credits list ever names.
Why a floor?
This is a minimum, not a total. We only count the credits we’ve captured so far, and coverage is uneven — a blockbuster might show a few hundred names while another of the same size shows a couple dozen. The real crews all ran into the thousands. The number here only grows as full credits are enriched — so we frame it as a floor, never a headcount.

Every stage matters — pitch decks and treatments from development, location scouts and table-reads from pre-production, set photos and crew anecdotes from production, edit-bay notes from post, and press kits, festival memories, or marketing ephemera from distribution.
