Synopsis
This documentary provides an overview of the early years—late 1970s and early 1980s—of the San Francisco punk band Dead Kennedys. It features clips from nine of their early live performances, as well as footage of key San Francisco locations central to the punk music scene. The film highlights Jello Biafra and The Dead Kennedys, illustrating why they are regarded as the kings of satire.
