Synopsis
A journalist travels to the Australian outback to report on a minor earthquake, only to discover that the tremor was caused by a small nuclear explosion. The incident is part of an extortion threat that has the government concerned about the possibility of nuclear blackmail. With the assistance of local reporters and despite harassment from security agencies, he works to prevent the crisis from escalating.
