Deadly Revenge

Harrison, a charming architect from Los Angeles who is also an accomplished cook and romantic, becomes engaged to Cate, a landscape architect from San Francisco, after meeting her while working on a major project together. Their engagement follows an elevator malfunction that traps them together. Cate moves to Los Angeles to be with Harrison and, while he is away on a mission in Tokyo, agrees to care for his widowed mother, Evelyn, who remains a significant presence in his life. Cate begins to feel uneasy, however, as she grows weak and hears rumors about Harrison's former girlfriend, who disappeared under mysterious circumstances years earlier, eventually leading her to call off the engagement. The truth is later revealed, exonerating Harrison and exposing a hidden threat.
