Death Camp Treblinka: Survivor Stories
Synopsis
Samuel Willenberg and Kalman Taigman were the last two known survivors of the Nazi extermination camp Treblinka. In their accounts, they describe the horrors they endured during the war and reflect on their lives following their escape during a prisoner uprising in 1943. After the war, Willenberg became a hero of the 1944 Warsaw uprising, while Taigman later testified as a witness during the trial of Adolf Eichmann.
