Synopsis

Hollywood, often called Tinseltown, is a city where actors can achieve immense fame overnight—and just as quickly fall from grace. The rise and fall of Hollywood stars often leaves behind a legacy of sadness, pain, and disappointment. *Death in Hollywood* explores the stories behind the deaths of both the silver screen's most beloved celebrities and its lesser-known figures. Featuring newsreel footage and previously unrevealed facts, the work details the causes of celebrity deaths, including suicide, drug and alcohol abuse, disease, and even murder. Covering both the tragic and the shocking, *Death in Hollywood* thoroughly examines the lives and deaths of Hollywood's departed, leaving no tombstone unturned in its pursuit of the truth.

How many hands made this film

The scale of the collaboration

Principal cast & crew: 15

These are the principals we have on file — the full crew ran to the hundreds. Every film this size was made by far more hands than any credits list ever names.

Why a floor?

This is a minimum, not a total. We only count the credits we’ve captured so far, and coverage is uneven — a blockbuster might show a few hundred names while another of the same size shows a couple dozen. The real crews all ran into the thousands. The number here only grows as full credits are enriched — so we frame it as a floor, never a headcount.
