A marine biologist and her team battle a rogue mako shark in a remote underwater lab, racing to prove their groundbreaking Alzheimer's research is safe before corporate interests and the creature itself destroy everything.

Synopsis
In a remote undersea research facility called Aquatica, scientists have genetically modified the brains of captive sharks in an attempt to develop a cure for Alzheimer's disease. However, the experiment produces an unintended consequence: the sharks become significantly more intelligent, agile, and aggressive. When a severe storm causes extensive damage to the facility, the researchers find themselves in a desperate battle for survival.
