For Dr. Malu, her new partner Hannes initially seems perfect. However, appearances are deceptive. As Malu becomes more involved in the relationship, she begins to notice increasingly strange behaviors from Hannes. He appears at her practice uninvited and interferes in her professional matters. He also intrudes more and more into her life before suddenly disappearing without explanation. Malu eventually ends the relationship with Hannes, but he does not give up. She soon realizes that he seeks control over her life, both personal and professional. Hannes gains access to her home, tampers with her computer, and photographs her while she sleeps. Matters worsen when he places an obituary for Malu. The police are unable to take action against the stalker due to the lack of evidence. Faced with this, Malu decides to take matters into her own hands.
