Deine besten Jahre
Synopsis
Vera Kemp, the heiress to an industrial enterprise, appears to live in a seemingly perfect world. Although she is uninterested in the business, her husband Manfred manages the company. When Vera discovers Manfred's affair with a younger woman, she attempts to salvage her marriage. During a vacation in Italy, Manfred and their son Max die in a road accident, plunging Vera into deep grief. She also begins to realize that her entire life has been based on falsehoods. Andreas Wolgast, a former employee, becomes the only person who supports her efforts to fight for control of the company and against the scheming of her own family.
