Delusions of Grandeur
Synopsis
Don Sallust serves as the minister of the King of Spain. Known for his deceitfulness, hypocrisy, and greed, he pockets taxes and is widely despised for the suffering he inflicts on the people. The Queen, a beautiful princess from Bavaria, accuses him of fathering an illegitimate child with one of her maids of honor. As a result, he is dismissed from his duties and commanded to retire to a monastery.
