Der letzte Weynfeldt
Synopsis
Adrian Weynfeldt is driven to a nearby bar one night due to the absence of an olive in his Dry Martini. There, he meets a striking woman whose forthright manner and unrefined charm captivate him. He takes her home, and the next morning, she stands at the balcony railing, intent on jumping. Weynfeldt, though awkward, manages to talk her out of it. From that moment, Lorena holds him responsible for her life and repeatedly asks for his help in overcoming financial difficulties. He begins to pay her debts to a man named Pedroni, whom she claims is a debt collector. Later, his old friend Dr. Baier asks him to produce a forgery of Felix Vallotton's painting "Le Salamandre" for auction. As Weynfeldt, who has previously had no dealings with forgers or blackmailers, becomes entangled in these events, questions arise: What is Lorena's true role in this? And will he be able to resist the growing temptation?

How many hands made this film
The scale of the collaboration
Principal cast & crew: 21
These are the principals we have on file — the full crew ran to the hundreds. Every film this size was made by far more hands than any credits list ever names.
Why a floor?
This is a minimum, not a total. We only count the credits we’ve captured so far, and coverage is uneven — a blockbuster might show a few hundred names while another of the same size shows a couple dozen. The real crews all ran into the thousands. The number here only grows as full credits are enriched — so we frame it as a floor, never a headcount.
