Der Sonnenhof
Synopsis
Katharina Kamp, a financial officer, is tasked with collecting tax debts from the stud owner Carl von Balkhausen. She arranges a meeting at his local estate, but he dismisses her. Shortly after, Katharina suffers a personal tragedy when she loses her brother and his wife in an accident. Initially overwhelmed by grief, she dedicates herself to caring for her niece Lara, who survived the accident but is now permanently confined to a wheelchair. By chance, Carl von Balkhausen and Katharina cross paths again. Through his horses and his presence, Carl begins to have a positive impact on both Lara and Katharina.
