Der Stich des Skorpion
Synopsis
Wolfgang Stein spent years in Bautzen prison for attempting to flee the German Democratic Republic. He was ransomed by the West German government in 1971 and placed in a reception camp in Unna. There, he fell in love with a nurse named Anne, with whom he soon moved in. Anne became pregnant and the couple married. One day, an old friend from Bautzen, Dieter Michaelis, visited the reception center and asked Stein to assist his brother-in-law in the GDR by helping him escape.
