Desahogo

On his 40th birthday, Luis engages in a wild sexual encounter at a brothel, but afterward, he becomes consumed by bitterness and arrogance. A blood stain, inexplicably growing on the sheet over the bulge formed by his lover, becomes a source of torment. In a moment of desperation, he discovers something under the sheet and, unable to cope, jumps out the window of the blood-soaked room. The fall plunges him into a surreal dream in which a peculiar fairy godmother reminds him of the child he still carries inside and the responsibility to care for him. Taking the message to heart, Luis, at the blowing out of the candles on his birthday cake, wishes to become that child. But beneath the sheets, drenched in blood, he realizes the error of his desire.
