Desperate Love 1989
Synopsis
Koji Nanjo, a young rock star, becomes romantically involved with soccer player Takuto Izumi. Koji later discovers that Izumi's mother was responsible for his father's murder, driven by an intense and overwhelming love. Izumi has taken full responsibility for the crime and refuses to pursue a professional soccer career, fearing that his past will be exposed by the media. Although Izumi resents Koji's presence and encouragement, as well as the attention brought by the press, Koji remains drawn to him, realizing that his feelings mirror the same obsessive love that Izumi's mother once felt for his father.
