Synopsis

The cartoon begins with a line of customers, including Woody, eagerly gazing through the window of a market butcher's shop owned by Buzz Buzzard. The story unfolds through a series of comedic gags in which Buzz dishonestly and literally raises his prices. Woody, as usual, is broke and attempts to sneak into the shop, only to be caught and thrown out by Buzz. On his way out, Woody accidentally knocks over a bottle of invisible ink, causing parts of his body to become invisible. Buzz, unable to see the full Woody, mistakenly believes he has been dismembered and, in a somewhat gruesome scene, sweeps him through a trap door to dispose of him. Woody later awakens and, realizing the situation, covers himself with the remaining invisible ink.

How many hands made this film

The scale of the collaboration

Principal cast & crew: 6

These are the principals we have on file — the full crew ran to the hundreds. Every film this size was made by far more hands than any credits list ever names.

Why a floor?

This is a minimum, not a total. We only count the credits we’ve captured so far, and coverage is uneven — a blockbuster might show a few hundred names while another of the same size shows a couple dozen. The real crews all ran into the thousands. The number here only grows as full credits are enriched — so we frame it as a floor, never a headcount.
