Devil's Pass

In February 1959, nine Russian hikers entered a remote region of the Ural Mountains. Two weeks later, they were discovered dead under mysterious circumstances, an event that has since become known as the Dyatlov Pass Incident. Decades of investigation have failed to produce a definitive explanation, leaving the case a subject of ongoing speculation and research. In the film, five American college students receive a grant to return to the site in an effort to uncover the truth behind the tragedy. Confident in their abilities, they set out to retrace the hikers' journey, only to encounter strange and increasingly disturbing phenomena that suggest they are not alone in the desolate wilderness. The forces tied to the Dyatlov Pass Incident appear to have been waiting for them.
