Synopsis

After Dexter is confronted by robots who claim they are there to "destroy the one who saved the future," he uses his time machine to investigate how he achieved this feat. The robots confirm their mission and prepare to attack him. Dexter easily defeats them using various tools and gadgets from his lab. However, the revelation that he is "The One Who Saved the Future" piques his curiosity, prompting him to travel through time to uncover the truth about his past achievements. In the first time period he visits, Dexter encounters a tall, skinny, and weak version of himself working in an office designing cubicles, with Mandark as his wealthy and successful boss. The younger Dexter inadvertently reveals the existence of blueprints for the "Neurotomic Protocore," which Mandark steals after the two Dexters move forward in time.
