Synopsis

Amalindis, the first-born of the royal twins, is dutiful and agrees to marry Prince Tanka. Her sister, Zottelhaube, the second-born, feels no connection to her nobility but instead to the great outdoors and a wolf, living in the forest. When three witches kidnap Amalindis, believing the first-born may herself be a witch, they see this as an opportunity for the eldest witch to rejuvenate and survive by transferring into Amalindis's body during the next solar eclipse. Suspecting time is running out, Zottelhaube, though reluctant, agrees to accompany Tanka on a dangerous journey to rescue her sister. She is unaware that she will fall in love during the journey, nor that the question of who is truly the first-born—and thus the one with powerful witchy abilities—will soon come into doubt.

How many hands made this film

The scale of the collaboration

Principal cast & crew: 20

These are the principals we have on file — the full crew ran to the hundreds. Every film this size was made by far more hands than any credits list ever names.

Why a floor?

This is a minimum, not a total. We only count the credits we’ve captured so far, and coverage is uneven — a blockbuster might show a few hundred names while another of the same size shows a couple dozen. The real crews all ran into the thousands. The number here only grows as full credits are enriched — so we frame it as a floor, never a headcount.
