Die Kronzeugin - Mord in den Bergen

Eva Bernhardt was previously known as Evelyn Frank, a well-known brothel owner in Berlin. She became a key witness against her husband and his business partner, and was subsequently enrolled in a witness protection program. Under a new identity, she now lives in the Bavarian mountains, starting fresh under the name Eva. She adapts to her new environment quickly and begins to form friendships. The two witness protection officers, Ines Meder and Holger Nolting, monitor Eva closely and with suspicion. Ines, in particular, questions Eva's authenticity when introduced to her as her daughter. Her doubts intensify when Eva gains the trust and favor of a local restaurant manager, leading Ines to believe that Eva may be manipulating the situation.
