Synopsis
Grandma Vera takes a bus from a small Polish town to Pinneberg to celebrate her birthday with her granddaughter Linda, Linda's husband Lothar, and their two children, Jan and Christina. The family, along with Lothar's formal and strict parents, enjoys a cheerful evening together. However, the following morning, Grandma is found dead. Although she had wished to be buried next to her husband, Pyotr, in her hometown of Kovalov, the family cannot afford the cost of a funeral there. As a result, they decide the only option is to transport her body themselves.
