Die Rebellion
Synopsis
Andreas Pum, a disabled ex-soldier, lost a leg while serving the emperor and his homeland. After leaving the army, he was granted a license and a street organ. One day, he gets into a dispute with a well-dressed gentleman, disrupts public order, and strikes a policeman. As a result, Andreas Pum is sent to prison, loses his license, and, upon his release, becomes a toilet guard at the Cafe Halali. Only at the moment of his death does he realize that he was always too decent and too obedient.
