In addition to Blumpfeld and Tocotronic, the band The Stars is one of the three major protagonists of the so -called ""Hamburg School"", who sustainably impresses German pop music in the mid -nineties to just the turn of the millennium. Music stylistically quite differently unites the handling of the German language that had not been heard until then. Well thought out, intelligent, sometimes ironic, texts in German suddenly again state of the art. For the last time, a local scene had such a large, noticeable, impressive influence on German pop music.
