Die Versöhnung
Synopsis
Ten years have passed since Benedikt Stirner left his home in Bavaria following the fatal accident involving his brother. He now returns as his father is dying. However, the strict family patriarch responds dismissively, as does Benedikt's brother, Anton, who is now engaged to Benedikt's great love, Johanna, and fears his brother might win her back. Indeed, the two rekindle their love, drawing open hatred from Anton, who alone knows the full truth about the accidental death of Benedikt's youngest brother.
