Synopsis
David Attenborough presents, in unprecedented detail, the final days of the dinosaurs. Paleontologist Robert DePalma has made a remarkable discovery at a prehistoric graveyard: fossilized creatures that are astonishingly well preserved, potentially offering new insights into the last days of the dinosaurs. Evidence from his site documents the day an asteroid larger than Mount Everest struck the Earth, causing devastation and leading to the extinction of the dinosaurs. Drawing on brand new evidence, the catastrophic events of that day unfold minute by minute.
