Divorce Italian Style
A desperate man schemes to murder his wife by tricking her into adultery in hopes of a lenient divorce, but discovers her unexpected faithfulness may cost him more than he bargained for.

Synopsis
Ferdinando Cefalù is determined to marry his cousin, Angela, but he is already married to Rosalia, and divorce is illegal in Italy. To circumvent the law, he attempts to deceive his wife into committing adultery so he can catch her in the act and kill her, hoping to receive a lighter sentence for killing an unfaithful woman. He enlists a painter to help lure Rosalia into an affair, but she proves more loyal than he anticipated.
