Do Geese See God?

A man, drenched in sweat and breathing heavily from exertion, opens a packet and removes a DVD labeled "Salvation comes from within." He plays the disc, which features a Max Fleischer cartoon of the three blind mice singing. The mice then deliver a message instructing him to go to a specific street corner. He hurries through the bustling streets of modern Los Angeles. At the designated corner, a homeless person speaks to him about shoes, then a cell phone rings, which he locates and answers. A voice on the phone sends him running—whether to prevent a tragedy, seek salvation, or escape earthly distractions remains unclear. Is this a cosmic game of cat and mouse? Will he pause to appreciate the moment?
