Synopsis
Yale scholar Matt Carter introduces his wealthy fiancée, Allison, to his family, and initially everything proceeds smoothly. However, it soon becomes clear that Allison has discovered Matt's lies about his relatives, which were intended to conceal their failures and dysfunctional dynamics. His brother, Tim, was expelled from school and has developed a drinking problem, and Matt is under pressure to keep his own troubling secret hidden from his intolerant parents.
