Synopsis
Set in 1971 on the Southwest coast of Florida, *Dolphin Lover* tells the true story of Malcolm Brenner, a college student who secures his first professional job as a freelance photographer capturing images of marine animals at Floridaland, a roadside amusement park that serves as a tourist attraction. The experience marks the beginning of Malcolm's career in photography and introduces him to the person he would come to love, ultimately changing his life. The film recounts the true story of Malcolm Brenner's year-long romantic and sexual relationship with Dolly, a captive bottlenose dolphin.
