Donald's Decision
Synopsis
Donald Duck was featured in a 1942 animated short titled *Der Fuehrer's Face*, in which he works a grueling factory job for a Nazi-like regime. The film, produced by The Walt Disney Company and directed by Frank Thomas, was created as a satirical anti-Nazi propaganda piece and a war bond promotion. Donald Duck was used as a symbol to encourage Americans to support the war effort, and the character was also used in promotional materials for Canadian war bonds during World War II.
