Synopsis

Dr. Gerald Bull was an expert in designing and building superguns, which are very large, long-range weapons capable of firing at distances exceeding 100 miles. He became involved in an operational plan by the CIA to export sanctioned arms to apartheid-era South Africa, but when this plan was exposed, the CIA denied any knowledge of it, and Bull was subsequently imprisoned. After his release, he relocated to Belgium, where he established a subsidiary. One of the major projects undertaken by this company was to assist Saddam Hussein in constructing a new supergun capable of firing over 500 miles.
