Drain the Bermuda Triangle
Synopsis
The Bermuda Triangle, a 500,000-square-mile region of the Atlantic Ocean, is the subject of numerous stories involving the disappearance of ships and aircraft, as well as accounts of lives lost. In this one-hour special from the National Geographic Channel, the area's enigmatic reputation is examined through an exploration of what lies beneath its surface. Using data from advanced sonar surveys, the program visualizes the ocean floor beneath the Bermuda Triangle. Viewers are shown the strange geological features that may be revealed and whether these discoveries offer any insight into the mysterious incidents recorded within the area's boundaries.

Cinemas keep roughly half of every ticket sold, and a wide release’s marketing often costs about as much again as the film — so a movie needs to gross around 2.5× its production budget just to break even theatrically.
