Synopsis
Filmmaker and journalist Bruce Burgess (Broken Dagger) explores the greatest secret of the 20th century—Area 51, also known as "Dreamland"—in this award-winning documentary. Accompanied by his camera crew, Burgess attempts to uncover the truth behind the most secretive military base in the world. Initially a skeptic, Burgess became convinced of the significance of his findings, which include footage of UFOs performing maneuvers that appear impossible under cover of darkness. The film documents multiple aircraft observed flying over the base, which is said to be roughly the size of Switzerland. The documentary also covers the unexplained deaths of Area 51 workers, government-funded Black Projects, reports of abductions, and the alleged reverse engineering of extraterrestrial technology. Dreamland ventures beyond the perimeter wire, through motion-sensor fields, past armed patrols, jet fighters, and attack helicopters, to reveal what may be the greatest secret yet to be exposed.
