Shatara Michelle Ford's second feature film, Dreams in Nightmares, is set to debut in August after gaining attention at the 2024 festival circuit. Following the acclaim of her directorial debut, Test Pattern, which received Gotham and Independent Spirit Award nominations, Ford continues to showcase her talent. The film will be released in New York City on August 21 and Los Angeles on August 28, with a new trailer now available. Ford's work has consistently drawn praise for its storytelling and direction.
