Synopsis
In a small town in Minnesota, a local TV crew is covering the annual beauty pageant. Gladys Leeman, a former winner, is determined to see her daughter follow in her footsteps, and she goes to great lengths to ensure success—resulting in explosions, falling lights, and trailer fires. As the wealthiest family in town, the Leemans face little interference from the police. Meanwhile, Amber Atkins, Gladys's main rival and a kind-hearted competitor, refuses to back down without a fight.
