Synopsis

In 1776, Gil and Lana marry and journey north to establish a small farm in the Mohawk River Valley near Albany, New York. As their lives grow more prosperous and content, the sounds of distant drums signal the approaching turmoil of revolution and war, casting a shadow over their future.
