Dying for Everest
Synopsis
On 15 May 2006, double amputee Mark Inglis reached the summit of Mt Everest. It was a significant achievement and Inglis received attention from both the press and the public. However, only a few days later, he became embroiled in controversy when it was revealed that he had passed an incapacitated climber, Englishman David Sharp, leaving him to die alone in the high-altitude Death Zone.
