Synopsis
J.B. Ball, a wealthy financier, becomes frustrated with his family's extravagant habits. He discards his wife's newly purchased sable coat by throwing it out the window; the coat lands on Mary Smith, a diligent but impoverished girl. He soon discovers that relinquishing an item of such value is not straightforward.
