Egg
Synopsis
Yusuf, a poet in his mid-30s to early 40s, returns to his childhood hometown after many years following the death of his mother. He finds his family home in a state of neglect and disrepair. Ayla, a girl aged 17 to 19, is waiting for him there. Yusuf had been unaware of her existence; she had been living with his mother for the past five years. On the morning of his return, he remains by his mother's bedside for some time.
