Ein Sommer in Griechenland

Rieke Bauer, a 45-year-old woman, seeks employment at the travel company owned by her family. Due to her ability to drive and handle long-distance routes, she is hired as a bus driver. She successfully transports all passengers to Athens on her first trip, but disaster soon follows: one day after arrival, she discovers that the bus has been stolen. While this would be less problematic if she had parked the vehicle in the guarded parking lot—where insurance would cover the loss—Rieke instead parked directly in front of the hotel, thereby losing her right to compensation. In this difficult situation, the Greek man Yannis supports her, as Rieke urgently needs help when her sister and an insurance agent soon arrive.
