Synopsis
When the wealthy brewer Dillinger attempts to withdraw 100,000 euros in cash, Gerhard Schwegler, head of the Volkskassen, refuses to honor the request. The reason for the refusal is personal: Dillinger's son Daniel had left Schwegler's daughter Marie just two days before their wedding. Dillinger becomes enraged, but Schwegler stands his ground. The incident is captured by teenager Lea, who films it for her video blog, leading to the rapid spread of rumors that the Volkskasse Oberhopfingen is refusing to make payments and is on the verge of bankruptcy.
