Einfach Nina
Synopsis
Nina, an 8-year-old girl who is confident and fun-loving, believes she was born into the wrong body and insists she was meant to be named Niklas. She bravely shares this with her family, expressing that she has always felt like a girl and wishes to live as one. Her grandfather Thilo offers his support, but Nina's parents, Simone and Martin, struggle to come to terms with the revelation, as do her brother Ben and the rest of the family. Tensions rise as old conflicts resurface, and challenges emerge in Nina's social life and at school. The story explores whether the family can remain united in the face of these difficulties, offering a fictional perspective on a highly relevant contemporary issue.
