Eiskalte Freunde

Lukas, a twenty-five-year-old law student, is among the few selected to study under the esteemed Professor Arndt. At the beginning of the summer semester, he transfers to Munich University. Determined to excel, Lukas aims to top his class and win the 25,000 valedictorian scholarship, seeing it as the first step toward an international career. His classmates include the intelligent Alexander and his friends Marco, Anton, and the attractive Evelyn. Intrigued by their charisma, Lukas longs to be part of their group. Though Alexander is his main competitor in the seminar, Lukas seeks his friendship. He also becomes deeply infatuated with Evelyn, whom he considers the most desirable woman he has ever met. His dream comes true when the group accepts him, but the allure of their glamorous lifestyle turns out to be deceptive. Struggling to match their high-society habits, Lukas falls into increasing financial difficulties. Hiding his problems, he becomes caught in a growing web of lies.
