Eisland
Synopsis
Marko's life is largely defined by frozen pizzas and chronic back pain. For nearly 30 years, the widower has delivered frozen goods for the company "Eisland" to the homes of his mostly elderly customers. When Marko is forced into early retirement due to his health, his life begins to fall apart. His sole motivation is to ensure his son has a better future; he envisions his son becoming a lawyer or judge—any profession that doesn't require wearing a name tag. The unexpected death of an elderly female customer opens up a new business opportunity for Marko. Unfortunately, he didn't account for the nosy neighbors. Matters are further complicated when his son discovers what he's doing. Marko's carefully constructed life begins to unravel. Then, he meets his idol, Roland Kaiser, at a bar.
