Father Osvaldo Catena passed away on November 29, 1986. Together with the community of Villa del Parque, he mentored the transformation of this emblematic neighborhood in western Santa Fe. He directed the Higher Institute of Music at the UNL and composed the Misa Criolla (Criolla Mass) with maestro Ariel Ramírez. He was also the creator of important liturgical works for the Church. He was a founding priest and activist of the Movement of Priests for the Third World.
