Elif and Her Friends in Cappadocia tells the story of Elif and her friends who go on a school trip to Cappadocia. After a successful school year, teacher İpek organizes a trip to Cappadocia for her students to relieve stress. After a wonderful day in Cappadocia, Elif and her friends listen to their guide Leyla's stories around the campfire. The children hear the legend of the fairy chimneys from Leyla and learn about the fairies who live in the sky. The children, who love the legend, dream of going up to the sky to meet the fairies.
