After arriving in New York to be with her suicidal daughter Jess, Margaux confronts the turmoil of a life unraveling as past lovers and family resurface, forcing mother and daughter to confront their fractured relationships and desires.
Arrived in New York, Margaux went to the bedside of her daughter Jess, who tried to commit suicide. She lives with Vic, who no longer satisfies her sexually. His ex, his father and his best friend, reappear soon in the life of Jess.
