Synopsis

Jane Morgan gives birth to her baby at the hospital. When she wakes up the next morning, the hospital informs her that her son died at birth. However, based on the ultrasound readings she had previously, she knew she was expecting a girl. The hospital refuses to provide further information, dismissing her concerns as denial stemming from her grief. Determined, Jane begins to fight the system to uncover evidence of what appears to be a hospital error. However, the mistake was not the hospital's. Nurse Rita Donohue is the one responsible for the switch. She had faked her own pregnancy to maintain her relationship with her roving boyfriend. But she mistakenly took the wrong baby, as her boyfriend wanted a son. Now, Rita is faking a second pregnancy and making plans to obtain another baby.

How many hands made this film

The scale of the collaboration

Principal cast & crew: 20

These are the principals we have on file — the full crew ran to the hundreds. Every film this size was made by far more hands than any credits list ever names.

Why a floor?

This is a minimum, not a total. We only count the credits we’ve captured so far, and coverage is uneven — a blockbuster might show a few hundred names while another of the same size shows a couple dozen. The real crews all ran into the thousands. The number here only grows as full credits are enriched — so we frame it as a floor, never a headcount.
