Synopsis
Abraham is considered by both Jews and Arabs as their ancestor. Despite this common ancestry, Israelis and Palestinians keep tearing each other apart. In this second part of his investigation, Abraham Segal questions the sacrifice of Isaac. What do history, archaeology, textual criticism, psychoanalysis... tell us about the father of the three great monotheistic religions? And to what extent can they contribute to an analysis of the current problems of the Middle East?
